2026 Terms of Service

1. Assumption of Risk & Owner Responsibility

At Training Wheels, LLC, our goal is to provide a safe, structured, and low stress environment for every dog in our care. That said, training, boarding and play will always come with a certain amount of unpredictability.

While Training Wheels staff take all reasonable precautions, I understand and acknowledge that unintentional errors, omissions, or misjudgments may occur, and Training Wheels, LLC cannot guarantee the elimination of all risks associated with dog training and boarding.

I understand that any training advice, product suggestions, or management recommendations are not guarantees of outcome or satisfaction. I remain fully responsible for my dog’s behavior and actions at all times—before, during, and after services provided by Training Wheels, LLC.

Dog ownership comes with inherent risks (even for very good boys and girls), including but not limited to bites, scratches, property damage, or injury to people or animals.

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Training Wheels, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, injuries, losses, damages, expenses, or costs (including attorney fees) arising from the behavior, actions, or health of my dog(s), whether occurring while in Training Wheels’ care or while following training guidance provided.

2. Training Outcomes

Dogs aren’t robots (thank goodness), and behavior can vary day to day. I understand that Training Wheels, LLC makes no express or implied guarantees regarding specific behavioral results, timelines, or outcomes.

Long-term success depends on consistency, follow-through, and continued training at home. Training Wheels can provide the tools—but I’m responsible for the follow through.

3. Medications & Supplements

I authorize Training Wheels, LLC to administer any medications or supplements I provide for my dog(s), including those not specifically labeled for animal use.

To keep things safe and smooth:

  • Prescription medications must be in their original containers with my dog’s name, medication name, dosage, and instructions clearly labeled.

  • Any over-the-counter supplements or calming aids must be accompanied by written veterinary authorization or prescription.

Training Wheels, LLC reserves the right to decline administration if instructions are unclear or improperly documented.

4. Health Updates & Communication

If something seems off, our team won’t leave you in the dark. Training Wheels, LLC will make reasonable efforts to notify clients of significant health concerns, including illness, injury, or behavioral changes that warrant attention.

Notification timing may vary depending on urgency and the needs of the dogs in our care—but each dog’s safety and well-being is our top priority!

5. Veterinary Care Authorization & Financial Responsibility

I authorize Training Wheels, LLC to seek any and all care necessary to protect the health, safety, and well-being of my dog(s), including veterinary care, emergency treatment, first aid, transportation, or other actions deemed appropriate at the sole discretion of Training Wheels, LLC.

Once my dog(s) are in the care of a licensed veterinarian or veterinary facility, I understand that all medical decisions, treatments, outcomes, and risks fall under the authority of that provider—not Training Wheels, LLC.

I accept full financial responsibility for all veterinary-related expenses, including exams, diagnostics, procedures, medications, hospitalization, transportation, and follow-up care. Training Wheels, LLC may advance payment if required, and I agree to promptly reimburse all such costs.

6. Home-Based Boarding & Activity Environment

Training Wheels, LLC is currently operating a smaller, limited-capacity boarding space from the owner’s private residence. This allows us to provide around the clock personalized attention, structured routines, and a calm, home-style experience.

Depending on temperament and needs, dogs may enjoy a variety of supervised activities, including:

  • Neighborhood walks

  • Time in an enclosed yard

  • Time on a lead

  • Field trips or structured outings

  • Car rides

Outdoor time may happen in different environments and weather conditions. While our team will always take reasonable safety precautions, normal play and enrichment can result in muddy paws, the occasional scratch, or other minor incidents and I accept these risks as part of a home-based, enrichment-focused program.

7. Treats, Enrichment & Dietary Considerations

Unless noted otherwise in writing, my dog(s) may receive treats, enrichment items (like Kongs), or food-based rewards during their stay because delicious treats are part of the fun.

While Training Wheels, LLC will do its best to manage any disclosed dietary restrictions, I understand that dogs can be resourceful snack detectives. Accidental exposure to unintended food items may occur, and Training Wheels, LLC is not liable for such incidents.

Dogs requiring absolute dietary restrictions must have a written Feeding and Management Plan established which must be approved by the Lead Trainer before each stay. If such a plan cannot be reasonably implemented, Training Wheels, LLC may decline care.

8. Social Interaction & Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that my dog(s) may be allowed to interact with other dogs under conditions deemed appropriate by the team at Training Wheels, LLC. While these interactions are thoughtfully managed, dog-to-dog play always carries inherent risks including injury or illness.

I knowingly assume all risks associated with social interaction and release Training Wheels, LLC from any and all liability arising from such interactions, irrespective of supervision or precautionary measures taken at the time of the incident.

9. Crating, Kenneling & Rest Time

Dogs need downtime too. I acknowledge that my dog(s) may be placed in a crate or kennel as part of normal routines, including overnight stays, rest periods, feeding, enrichment, safety management, or operational needs.

Duration and frequency will vary based on each dog’s needs, behavior, and the day’s flow.

10. Media Release

I authorize Training Wheels, LLC to capture and use photographs and video recordings of my dog(s) for record-keeping, training documentation, and promotional or educational purposes, without compensation.

11. Drop-Off, Pick-Up & Late Arrival Policy

All drop-offs and pick-ups are by appointment only. Clients must confirm or request changes to scheduled times no later than the day before their appointment.

Because Training Wheels, LLC operates from a private residence in a residential neighborhood, timely arrivals and departures are essential.

  • During normal business hours, arrivals more than 30 minutes late will incur a $45 late arrival fee.

  • Outside of normal business hours (after 6:00 PM or on Holidays), the late arrival fee will increase to $90 per half-hour.

  • All Arrivals & Departures occurring after 7:30 PM will be billed as an additional night of boarding, regardless of duration.

Fees are applied automatically unless an exception is granted at the sole discretion of Training Wheels, LLC.

12. Payments, Cancellations & Late Fees

Payment is due at the time services are rendered, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to services.

I acknowledge that late balances are subject to the following;

  • 10 business days past due: 10% late fee

  • 30 days past due: 25% late fee

Balances unpaid after 60 days may be pursued through legal or collection action. Clients are responsible for any associated collection or attorney fees where permitted by law.

All purchases are non-refundable. Boarding is billed per night, similar to hotel accommodations—once your dog checks in, early pick-up does not result in refunds or credits.

By scheduling services with Training Wheels, LLC, you acknowledge that you’ve read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

If you have questions, just give us a bark—we’re always happy to help.

Warmly,
Training Wheels, LLC
